Give and Get More

Donating time, expertise and financial support to worthy causes is fun, satisfying, rewarding, and just plain good sense. The common experience for donors is that when we donate, we get back more than we give. To build the MVPC and fulfill our collective goal for the project to be debt-free will require many of us to stretch our resources and enjoy a level of giving we may not have considered before.

The "Add a Zero" Campaign

Recently at a small fundraising event, donors were encouraged to think of what they could give comfortably but significantly...and then add a zero to the end of that amount. One participant jumped in and extolled the benefits of adding a zero. He explained how he had done this in the past and how it had always worked in his favor.

A very large contributor to a Maharishi Peace Palace in Houston, Texas and Lexington, Kenticky was constantly being referred to as the project's "benefactor". He immediately corrected the perception and explained that he and his wife considered themselvs the "beneficiaries". We stretched to do this before and the rewards have been far beyond the level of our giving, he explained.

All levels of donations, according to one's means, are helpful and rewarding. To participate in creating this wonderful center which will benefit us all and our world is a sublime investment in our future. It is an insurance policy creating support for our continued well-being and prosperity.

  • We are a 501.c.3 charitable organization, and your donation will be tax deductible as allowed by law.
  • Your employer may match (or better) your contribution. Please research this possibility. We have already received matching donations from major corporations.
  • We can accept donations of stock. Donations of appreciated stock can be very beneficial to the donor. Please check with your advisor
